Review: Circle Lenses from PinkyParadise

I was recently sent sponsored pair of circle lenses from PinkyParadise I chose the Princess Pinky Woolly Eyes in Violet as I thought they would go well with the Daenerys cosplay I’m working on, and I was thinking I might try to make them look pink for a Yuno Gasai as well, or maybe just buy a new pair if I can get enough use out of them. Here’s how they are supposed to look from the picture on their site. Should be great right? Spoiler alert: They are!princess-pinky-woolly-eyes-violet-beforeafter.jpg

Initial impression:

I got the package in about two weeks. It was well wrapped as I expected and came with a nice lens case. The lenses themselves came packed packed in liquid and look every bit as good as expected.

They Also came with these really cute stickers which is always a nice surprise… I love when companies do these little extras to show they appreciate their customers ❤

So now the moment of truth …compare the picture above from their site to how they look on me in real life. Here’s a before and after so you can also see how much it changes my eyes.

..aaaand a closeup

Overall Impressions:

I’m really happy with these lenses so far. I’ve only had one other pair of circle lenses and these are better than that other pair. After you get past the initial sting of putting them in they are actually pretty comfortable I could wear them all day at a con and not have to worry about them.

But ultimately for me as a cosplayer it’s all about the final look, in real life the look is not as vibrant which is what i was hoping for I really prefer a more natural look… The effect is really fantastic and I think they be perfect when I get them under studio lights… I’m really excited to see how they turn out when I do my photo shoot (I’ll update it more when I have professional pics).
